Wednesday in Virginia and Tennessee

On the road Wednesday am by 6:30.  Traffic reasonable heading away from VA/DC.  We took 28 to 66 to 81 and ate lunch about 45 miles from the Tennessee line.  Rolling hills become mountains and place us in beautiful scenery.  Vineyards in Virginia, horse farms, cattle, falling-in barns and old homesteads.

Beautiful sunny day and temperatures comfortable. Trying to figure out where to stop for the night - Knoxville, Nashville or beyond!  Marty even drove the camper stating it was not on the top of her list of vehicles to drive.  Lilly is spending her time hidden behind the sofa bed while Muki swaps riding on laps to stretching out on the floor beside the driver's seat.

Planning on stopping near Nashville and on Thursday taking the Natchez Trace Parkway south.  It will be more akin to back country, but is said to be very beautiful.

Overnight in a Walmart parking lot :) about 80 miles from Nashville.
