Monday, April 11 - departures are never what you expect them to be. Not that departures are supposed to be one thing or another, but can be joyous and filled with excitement or sad. Or, as in our case, filled with the unexpected...a dead battery! Hum, guess that is what happens when you leave the lights on all night after a small child has been "driving" and you forget to check everything before you go inside. Fortunately the camper has two batteries and it was a quick fix!
Now back in Maine, our trip today from VA will have taken fewer than 12 hours. Now add the six weeks of everywhere else and you almost have it.
This blog may now return to more mundane topics or maybe not. We will just have to see what see develops. Thanks for coming on our journey!
