Heaven help us! We are accessing wifi at the Big Meadows Lodge and in the background, but louder than just background Muzak is MUSIC. Sappy, waltzes and elevator stuff reflecting the age of most of the folks staying here (70-80+). Yes, we are partly in that age group but prefer rock, jazz, blues, etc. It is not that the songs are not nice, it is the rendering of them. Lawrence Welk on drugs!
Otherwise, listening to waltzes, is well......maybe they are attempting to create an atmosphere that fits the age of the place.
Our weather continues to be lovely and we'll head out for at least a walk and maybe bike ride very soon.
