Heading South

Tuesday, Feb 11, and we awoke to rain.  There are winter storm warnings for a great portion of the south through Thursday morning.  We are hoping to go far enough south to avoid the bad stuff.  Only time will tell.  Below on I-85 we are driving toward Montgomery in the rain.
It is now Wed am.  We have driven through rain and more rain and mist an foggy stuff and more rain all the way to Baton Rouge.  There was rain, rain, rain, and more rain.  We have stayed overnight in a Walmart parking lot and marveled at how cool it is.  It was 37 degrees when we stopped last night and it is cooler than that this am!  And we thought we were going to escape the cold stuff down here.  We know we should not complain because all of you are experiencing colder stuff with a big storm headed your way too, most likely it is "our" rain storm that is makin it's way north.  We should not complain.

On another note we are having no problems with either camper, and with luck we will be in Big Bend before lunch tomorrow.

Both Dee and Marty are fasting today after a huge Japanese Buffet dinner last night when the urge to sample  everything pushed them into over eating...bellies are still full this am.
